1.2.6 Numbering of Base Pairs and Amino Acids
Base pairs and amino acids are numbered in the DNA view (Figure 1.2.6.1).

- Numbering of the base pairs is continuous throughout the entire sequence.
Numbering of the amino acids start from 1 with each new Coding Strand of DNA (Figure 1.2.6.2).

The number of the first base pair of each part is indicated in the linear view (Figure 1.2.6.3).
