1.2.8 Viewing "More Properties"

  • The "More Properties" tab contains information regarding the project details (Figure 1.2.8.1) as well as details on the specific parts (Figure 1.2.8.2).

  • When a strand of DNA is highlighted selection details are displayed at the bottom of the screen (Figure 1.2.8.3). Selection details displayed:

    • the start of the selection
    • the end of the selection
    • the selection length
    • the number of parts contained in the selection
    • the GC content
    • the melting temperature (calculated according to SantaLucia 1998)
    • the isoelectric point
    • the hydrophobicity
    • the molecular weight

  • The Annotations tab (Figure 1.2.8.4) can be used to easily find parts. You can sort all parts in the project according to their location, name, feature key, nucleotide count or strandness. You can then navigate to the part by clicking its location.
